Ongoing Expenses

ShelfGenie franchisees pay a weekly royalty fee of 4% of gross revenues (percentage may rise to 5% after October 1, 2011) as well as a weekly marketing contribution fee of 2% of gross revenues. Additional fees include a local advertising minimum spending requirement.

What You Get—Training and Support

The ShelfGenie support team provides franchisees with assistance in both opening and operation, including up to eight days of comprehensive start-up training at the home office in Marietta, GA. This initial training is followed by on-site start up assistance, periodic field visits and ongoing remote support from experienced ShelfGenie representatives. ShelfGenie also provides a confidential operations manual detailing day-to-day operations and professionally designed consumer marketing materials.

ShelfGenie franchisees are given access to the ShelfGenie Business Support Center customer calling center for assistance with customer service, as well as a proprietary web-based business management system.

Territory

ShelfGenie grants exclusive territories.
