What You Get—Training and Support

Owner and manager classes consist of a minimum of five days of training and are held approximately four times a year in California, Massachusetts or an alternative site; hairstylist classes are held throughout the year at designated facilities. The owner and manager training covers the history of the Fantastic Sams system, salon operations, accounting system, inventory control, financial management, human resources, product knowledge, customer and employee relations, advertising/marketing and more. The hairstylist training includes hairstyling techniques, the Fantastic Sams system and sales training. Regional seminars are also provided periodically.

A staff of over 50 professional instructors offers ongoing support in operations, products and promotions. National conferences play a key role in motivating franchisees, allowing them to network and gain more training. The Fantastic Sams name is given fresh exposure annually through coordinated efforts in national and regional advertising campaigns.

Fantastic Sams grants a protected area within a half-mile radius of the salon location.
