What You Get–Training and Support
Express Oil Change provides comprehensive training to franchisee, managers and crew members. The initial classroom and field training includes an eight-week program for the franchisee or a designated manager, and two weeks for crew members at a store training center in Alabama. The program for franchisees and managers covers oil change procedures, mechanical training, store operation, inventory control, management, marketing, accounting and human resources, while the training for crew members focuses on operational procedures. Trainings are conducted by highly experienced support officers with an average of 5-10 years in the industry. Additional or periodic training programs are also available. A certified trainer spends time at the franchisee’s location during the first year and as needed.
Express Oil Change franchisees also benefit from ExpressTrack©, a proprietary management system which allows owners to easily track key indicators in their business, giving them real-time access to the elements in the operation that make the business work. Express Oil Change’s business model has proven itself; exemplified by a 99% survival rate of all stores built over the last 10 years—a rare accomplishment in the franchise industry.
Territory
Express Oil Change grants protected areas.
Note: The tables and information regarding the number of operating units, investment required, on-going expenses, training and territory grants were taken from the company’s 2011 FDD. The 2011 write-ups will be incorporated into the 2012 Edition of Bond’s Top 100 Franchises publication.
